Born the youngest of 5, my earliest childhood memory with a camera was a pale green 35mm point and shoot. I'd use it often, empty or not. This brought me some adventure and joy. I grew up around photography although it took me 25 years to acknowledge this. Every family gathering ended with a strobe or click of shutter. Scrap book catalogs of faces i'd met, may or may never meet lined shelves and boxes in every home. I would always look through the photos and imagine.
Photography connects us. My deepest intent to share the experience of looking through a photo and invoking a moment of nostalgia. I always think of how perspective can be utilized to bring us into the scene and allow us to experience more from our own past, present, and future.
